- some minor bugs solved in the user interface
- bug solved: during playback with start from green line, the screen did not show
correctly the part that was being played

- bug solved: the 'mute grey notes' function did not work while playing back notes by
scraping manually
- bug solved: when measure number was deleted, the initial progam changes (patches)
where deleted inadvertently

handled correctly
- bug solved: when a midi file is marked for read only and the file is on disk, an error
occurred. Now Noteur temporarily resets the read only status, so the user can still work
with it

Changes after version 3.1a
- enhancement of the performance of several functions
- improved layout with the possibility to configure the most important
colors in the edit screen. On the moments that no note editing is
abvailable on the dit screen this is shaded dark. See 'settings-layout'
- revision and functional extension of selecting, cut, copy and paste.
Selecting now possible with a rubberband method. During paste the user can
shift the notes manually to the proper place. See documentation under
'selecting, cut and paste'.
- sliding notes now also possible with the D-click function. This enables
th euser to shift the notes to the proper place directly in the edit
screen.
- number of buttons is extended to 80. The number of buttons in one row
can be specified. See 'settings-layout'.
- before a midifile is overwritten with a save, automatically a copy is
made. This copy can be opened from the file menu as 'savemidi.mid'.
- extended features for playback. See 'settings-playback'.

Changes after version 4.1a:
- extended functonality added for editing of tempo changes. Besides the
percentual tempo adjustment, tempo changes can be added, changed en
deleted on individual or group basis. Also a function is present to add
series of tempo changes to increase or decrease the tempo gradually
(rallentando/accelerando)
- during insertion of new measures, a new timesign can be specified. This
enables the user to combine pieces of music with different time signs as
with medleys
- meaures can be copied, compete with timesigns, tempos and barlines
- during adding notes, changing the key of notes an some other functions,
a text balloon appears with the note name. This effect can be suppressed
in the layout panel in the settings menu
- chords can be visualised in a pop-up window bij scraping the notes with
l-click and the A-key pressed
- the feature for moving notes with r-click only does not longer exist |
